How to Involve your Family in your Vintage Flipping Business

Flipping vintage furniture can be a fun and rewarding hobby, but it's even better when you can share it with your family. If you're looking for ways to get your family involved in your hobby, here are some awesome ideas:

1. Involve them in the process.

Show your family members how you find and refinish, reimagine, and restore pieces. Involve them in the decision-making process which can be so much fun. This can be a great opportunity to teach them about furniture design and craftsmanship, and to share your passion with them.

2. Set Goals Together

Set goals as a family for your vintage furniture flipping business, and work together to achieve them. This can be a fun and rewarding way to bond as a family while building your business. Want to go on that family vacation? Want to upgrade the family TV? Set a fun goal and raise funds by flipping some furniture together. Sure, your kids could run a lemonade stand, but flipping furniture as family is way cooler and more profitable! Disney here you come!

3. Stay safe as you flip vintage furniture!

Make sure that you read the safety facts when using any product to help you flip. Stripwell QCS is the best way to strip vintage furniture with your family because you won’t need to worry about harmful VoCs, chemical burns on your skin, or highly toxic chemicals.

4. Make it a family outing

Turn your search for vintage furniture into a family outing by visiting thrift stores, estate sales, and garage sales together. This can be a fun and exciting way to spend time together, and you never know what treasures you might find.

5. Involve kids in the design process.

If you have kids, involve them in the design process by letting them help choose paint colors, fabrics, and accessories for your flipped pieces. This can be a great way to get their creative juices flowing and to foster a love of design.

6. Share Your Successes!

Share your flipped pieces with your family and talk about the process of finding and restoring them. This can be a great way to celebrate your successes and to inspire others to get involved in your hobby.
Keep it Safe with Family with QCS!
