Definitely the best by far. Tried other stripping choices out there and was a mess. This stuff is great for intricate or detailed items that one might need to strip. A small brush and some stripwell and it goes so much faster and less time consuming. Only warning is if you're not careful you can go through this stuff rather fast. Make sure to get a few if you have a rather large project. I only got one bottle because I was skeptical, I am definitely going to get more. This product is amazing! It starts working in minutes and the clean up is the easiest process. I also like that it’s gentle, most other strippers as soon as you open it, the fumes get you. Sometimes you see a product demonstrated and you think--it can't be THAT good! Well QCS is even better! The price is higher than other strippers but it is unlike any other stripper! This is a “RUN, don’t walk” to buy! How did I ever strip furniture without it! Easy to use . Perfect if you don’t own a scrub sink because all you do is spray on, wait & wipe off! Ok. I hate stripping furniture. Its messy and gross and ruins your hands and takes so much work and time. This stuff, is amazing. Almost no scraping or scrubbing involved. QCS is wonderful. I used it on my Grandmother's 100 year old bureau and it turned out great. It easily stripped off the old shiny but dinged up finish and brought life back into the piece. My first experience with Stripwell QCS was amazing! I was refinishing my grandparents vintage buffet and the detailed legs had me stressed to the max. I purchased this as I was trying to remove residual shellac from a desk. It was hot out and the alcohol I was using was flashing off too fast to penetrate the shellac. Your product was terrific and removed the shellac painlessly when I followed your directions!! Now, I am removing a finish from a 1980s Drexel side table. I am working out I. The heat again and have found that as long as I keep the surface wet with your product, it does swimmingly. I will definitely continue to purchase this products as it meets all my needs, easily. I was so excited to find a much safer and easier paint stripper. I refurbish furniture and have tried a lot of methods - most are super toxic, messy, or work intensive. I purchased QCS for a project with very intricate details that I was dreading. After spraying and allowing it to work, I was able to scrape and brush off nearly ALL of the paint from the whole piece including the tiny crevices. I love this stuff! I had just painted a dresser drawer with clear shellac and then 2 layers of BIN’s shellac base primer. Then I decided that I didn’t want to paint the drawers that I should have just stained them instead. So I sprayed the QCS on them and I was so impressed. The QCS cleaned the dresser so good that now I know that this is the best stripper ever made. The ordering and delivery process went well. The bottle arrived safely and I used it to strip an oak coffee table. It worked on one shelf very well. The top took forever and I ended up using another stain remover to finish it. It is very gentle on the wood not leaving any white marks or drip stains. This product works like a dream! I hate stripping furniture with chemical strippers because it's so messy. But this product makes it so much easier and not nearly as messy! First time using this product after seeing many fellow furniture refinishers doing the same and raving about it.In the past I have only used Cistristrip and was never happy with the results so this seemed like a good product to try. I had a very thick finish on the top of a buffet I am refinishing. I usually use a carbide scraper and sand but this finish was extra tough and giving me issues so I gave this a try. I was happy with the results but did have to apply it one extra time then the normal recommended two. No problem just another 15 minute application of a few spots and to clean up left over residue and all the old crappy finish was gone. I was sooo impressed with this stripper! No more stinky, toxic, strippers! I always thought a stripper that was less toxic would not be effective. However, I couldn’t be more wrong! QCS is an excellent stripper! It did a wonderful job on a dresser top that I was working on recently. I followed the directions carefully and used my putty knife to strip away a large amount of the finish. This made my job so much easier when it came to sanding! Finally, a finish remover that works and is safe at the same time! The key is patience, spray spray spray and wait until it bubbles. When it’s ready, it doesn’t require any effort to remove. This worked to remove most of the paint on a piece I’m working on, but paint removal results definitely very based on several factors.
